- Description: The Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal invites you to our annual Spring Symposium and first ever Comic Law Con on legal issues facing comic book creators and publishers. Issues and topics to be discussed will include publishing agreements, collaboration agreements, services agreements, and key legal and business issues for the comic book industry. The event will consist of two panels, each comprised of creators, practitioners and comic book publishing executives. First will be Perspectives on Transactions in Comic Books, and the next will focus on business and legal issues, with a question and answer discussion and a reception to follow. Food and drinks will be served.

- Larry Hama, artist and writer for GI Joe and Wolverine
- Lillian Laserson, sole practitioner and former General Counsel of DC Comics

- Bob Sikoryak, comic book artist and author of Terms and Conditions: The Graphic Novel
- Jeff Trexler, associate director of the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham Law School
